The Local Dose started in the Illawarra, somewhere between a rainy Sunday and forty minutes lost in a community Facebook group. There was plenty happening. There was just no easy way to know what suited a two year old, a six year old and a budget.
So we built a planner instead of another directory. Places are checked for the things parents actually need: shade, fences, change facilities, parking, whether the coffee is worth stopping for. Then the plan is built around your family, not the average family.
We're local. We know the beaches, the bushwalks, the markets and the rainy-day escapes, and we work with local businesses so their information stays accurate.
