About
Austinmer Beach is one of the Illawarra's most-loved family beaches, tucked between two rocky headlands with two ocean rock pools and a wide patrolled swimming area. The grassy foreshore has plenty of shade, picnic tables and a playground, so you can spend an easy half day swapping between sand, water and snacks. Lifeguards patrol through the warmer months and cafes and the surf club kiosk are a short barefoot walk away.
